The 2nd Generation Disc Lock Tool 7.5 (Type 2) is the compact setting element of the 7.5 mm second-generation tubular family, used to hold and reseat the disc wafer ring while a cylinder is stripped, cleaned or reassembled, and to correct a disc that has slipped out of its gate position. The 7.5 mm body is turned for that specific second-generation bore and carries the Type 2 disc stepping, so it is not interchangeable with the 7.0 mm or Type 1 tools. A low-cost bench essential for locksmith workshops and machine-lock repair benches.
